One year on

This week will be a year since I disappeared from New Zealand TV screens, after only a month of being on them.
I was already expecting some ’it’s-one-year-since’ stories in the next few days - goodness knows, I’ve done and even advocated for enough “anniversary journalism” in my career to know that it’s inevitable - and judging by the reporters who turned up at my front door this morning, my instincts were correct.
Just in case I haven’t been clear enough already (and I think I was in the final paragraph of this statement in October last year) I have no intention of speaking to the media, and I would ask again that they stop coming to my home.
It’s a waste of your time and of mine.
Right now, I’m busy working on something new… that’s where you’ll hear from me, in due course, and in my own words.
